Outerloop: Open and Trustworthy Multi-Agent Autoresearch
We rerun the chosen results of three published autoresearch systems on new seeds, and their gains shrink because part of each gain came from a lucky run. Our own agents' gains shrink in the same way when they grade themselves, whereas the gains the kernel credits match the audit. With the same coding model, the systems reach similar scores and differ mainly in how far their reported results can be trusted.
